About Us

Sindhi Cultural and Literary Association is a non-profit group committed to serve the communities from the geographical region of Sindh province. This province of Pakistan is the home of world’s oldest civilization – the Indus Valley Civilization.
People of the area are known for their religious tolerance, co existence, peace and tranquility. All the traditions, life routine, principles, values and activities revolve around the behaviour of tolerance.
The aims and objectives of this Association is to promote Sindhi Language, other Languages spoken in area and culture of Sindh through social activities including Literary sessions, Seminars, workshops, social gatherings and so forth.
The Association will keep liaison with other linguistic and geographical area organization to exchange the knowledge, information, wisdom, and positive values. This association intends to make efforts to accelerate the pace integration of Sindhi people in Canadian society. To motivate and encourage more women to join the work force for playing their part in the Canadian economy.
Sessions in community and joint sessions with other community organization will be arranged for knowledge and understanding. Seminars at national and international level will be arranged for that purpose. Promote culture and literature of Sindh with view to spread the values of area beyond borders. Open ways for learning from other part of the world.
