About Us
SCALA is a registered not-for-profit organization in Canada, committed to the welfare and advancement of the Canadian Sindhi community. Our mission includes preserving and promoting the rich cultural and literary heritage of Sindh (Pakistan) both in Canada and in Sindh. Also to celebrate Canadian national days and values in Canadian Sindhi Community.
We Plan to achieve the Objectives through a range of activities such as community networking, cultural gatherings, seminars, literary sessions, webinars, video conferences, and group discussions.
SCALA believes that a world enriched with cultural diversity is a more beautiful place to live. Our programs and activities are designed to reaffirm our commitment to traditional values, timeless wisdom, and a heritage of non-violence. Through cultural exchange initiatives, we aim to share this vibrant legacy with other communities and nations, fostering mutual understanding and harmony.
The organization is actively working to guide the youth of Sindh towards market-oriented education and skill development. It also promotes women’s education in underdeveloped areas of Sindh (Pakistan) as a key strategy for poverty alleviation and social uplift.
SCALA is committed to promoting Sufi and classical music, traditional cultural skills, and heritage arts. We also extend recognition and appreciation through awards to individuals who serve the community and nation with dedication and selflessness.

MISSION
SCALA is committed to the welfare and social uplift of the Canadian Sindhi community, with a focus on women’s empowerment through social activities, community networking, and knowledge sharing on emerging market trends. It encourages interaction with other communities to foster cultural exchange and the sharing of values and experiences. The organization actively promotes Sindhi culture, literature, folk music, and traditional heritage and skills in both Canada and Sindh (Pakistan). SCALA also provides advisory support for youth development and advocates for women’s literacy in underdeveloped areas of Sindh.
